Chlamydia is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections in the UK, and often causes no symptoms — so testing is the only reliable way to know your status. Screening is quick and simple, usually a urine sample or self-taken swab.
Who Is This Private Service For?
The free NHS chlamydia screening programme is aimed at people aged 15-24. Our private service is available to anyone outside that age range, or anyone who’d simply prefer a private, same-day appointment.
How Does the Test Work?
You collect the sample yourself, in private, following clear instructions from our pharmacist. The sample is sent for laboratory testing, and we’ll explain how and when you’ll get your results.
What Happens if I Test Positive?
Chlamydia is easily treated with a short course of antibiotics. If your result is positive, we’ll give you confidential advice on treatment and on informing recent sexual partners so they can be tested too.

Your appointment, samples and results are handled with complete confidentiality, in a private consultation room away from the shop floor.
